K9-X 5K. • Hamilton. Come two- and four-legged runners to the First Annual K9-X 5K hosted by the Bitterroot Mushers in Hamilton. Race begins at 10 am at the Hamilton Dog Park (900 block of Adirondac Ave). Race includes two distances: 5K and 1.5 mile. Registration fee is $10/participant. Sign-up by mail or the morning of beginning at 8:30 am. Dogs that pull are required to be in harness (for their safety); harnesses will be available for loan, with a deposit. 1st Annual Island X Adventure Run • Billings, Norm's Island at Riverfront Park, 9 am. start. This 5k adventure run will challenge you to "survive the island" as you make your way to a fun-filled finish. It promises to be like no run you've ever done before! Costumes are encouraged with a Survivor theme. A free kids race will follow the 5k event. The cost is $20 and includes prizes and a sport-tech T-shirt. 27th ANNUAL EVARO MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE • Evaro. 5K and 10K Runs and Walks.. Time: 10 AM, except the 10K Racewalk which starts at 9:30 AM. Day of Registration: 8:30 to 9:45 AM.
